As a Partner in VIO Management, I acquired Hill & Co Property Management and Pacific Union Property Management, managed 30+ people, led a complete integration and turnaround of the combined businesses, during a 50 point NPS improvement.
As VP of Business Development at Mynd Property Management, I increased revenue by 22x, closing 18 acquisitions in 16 markets and scaling the sales team, successfully taking the company from 400 units under management to approximately 10,000 units, with over $92.5M in funding and 375 team members.
My other experiences range from Silicon Valley (Head of US Business Development at Funding Circle, IPO 2018 LON:FCH) to Wall Street (Welsh, Carson, Anderson and Stowe, where I acquired and ran Commercial Strategy at Solstas Labs, acquired by Quest Diagnostics).
I have owned and / or operated companies in 15+ industries.
I also graduated Magna Cum Laude from Morehouse College with a BA in Business Finance.

i’M ALSO a family man, public speaker, and burnout beater.
After tireless hours, my dedication led to a successful business exit in 2022; However, the intense effort left me completely depleted, necessitating a sabbatical which interrupted my onward and upward trajectory of success.
Since selling that business, I’ve brought myself back from deep burnout, and become even closer to my wife and two children. I use that experience to speak to and advise executives on how they can avoid or recover from burnout.
Here Are Some Things I’ve Done Since Recovering from Burnout:
I implemented several burnout prevention processes into my last business, ensuring executives were able to sustain the workload intensity that led to a successful exit.
I created Self Made Dad, a limited series podcast exploring fatherhood without an role model.
I have launched Halftime, an annual retreat for Black men in charge to rest and recover, so no one else like me will burn themselves out before
